Under User Preferences, do you have a non-zero value for “Levels of Undo”?

Well that’s just it – they didn’t appear ANYwhere – not in the Viewer’s generators pulldown or anywhere in the Effects tab of the Browser – until I created a subfolder in the plugins folder for them. Then they showed up like they should. Curious, no?

Newegg.com has some really good buys, as well. Here’s a 19″ Samsung (analog only) for about $350, but they have quite a selection and a great reputation. Hope this helps…

What problems are you having with 10.3.9? Did you repair permissions after upgrading? It’s rock solid for me – let us know what your system is comprised of – that always helps…

If you must go back, you’ll have to do a clean install of 10.3.3 and then run the 10.3.8 updater (if it’s still around on the Apple site). A search at apple.com should find it if it’s there.

If you’re buying a broadcast monitor to monitor your FCP output, it needs to be connected to your deck/camera, not your computer. If not, you’d need some kind of adapter to go from your G5’s DVI port to S-video or whatever your monitor will accept as input. Hope that helps.

Your sequence settings can be found (not surprisingly) by going to the Sequence menu>Settings (or command-zero).
