May 12, 2005 at 12:56 pmWhat problems are you having with 10.3.9? Did you repair permissions after upgrading? It’s rock solid for me – let us know what your system is comprised of – that always helps…
If you must go back, you’ll have to do a clean install of 10.3.3 and then run the 10.3.8 updater (if it’s still around on the Apple site). A search at apple.com should find it if it’s there.

Yep, it’s still there. I recently purchased an original model of the Dual 2.0 G5 and downloaded the 10.3.8 Comboo Updater, about two weeks ago.

May 12, 2005 at 2:20 pmYou may want to run the ProApp 3.0 Updater for 10.3.9 as it is supposed to improve the user interface reliability for FCP under 10.3.9.
Go to Apple software download section for that Updater.

May 12, 2005 at 4:55 pmI’m getting lot’s of freezes . . . .the video just freezes but audio continues even though the CTI does not move. I’m also constantly having to refresh A/V devices in order to see what’s on the timeline. I guess the bright side of this is that I’m not dropping frames anymore.
