Hi John
The old saying, If it sounds to good to be true it is probably not, these kinds of deal are mostly from people who buy a bulk user license that can only be used legally by one group or company, Check the Videoguys web site they have some good upgrade deals and you can get someone on the phone to ask for advise.Tv One Productions

Thanks for the suggestion John, I’m not a big fan of Boris products We had bought them in the past but found them to cumbersome to use, as I said We need a CG that can get the job done faster that’s why Blue looked so promising. After effects it great but it takes a lot of time when you have a lot of moving graphics on multiple screens.

I also bought the Matrox Mini and at first I had problems with Adobe crashing(CS5.5), I have an HP Z400 with nvidia 4000 Graphics Card. The documentation on how to install the box was very poor, after a few calls to Matrox and then an hour later I had it up and running the the crashes started after that, I found that the nvidia drivers had to be updated, then I had no more crashes, I was ready to send the Matrox back but after I connected it to a 36″ Panasonic monitor and went thru the set up that matrox provides I was blown away, the picture was great. Its a little tricky to set up but well worth the effort, we also have a Mac with the Next size up Matrox and that did not have problems but we did need to call Matrox to get the install correct

Avid is just getting paid back for their lack of people skill’s High price’s & failure to communicate with the end user, We tried many times to use the software & always hit a roadblock we now have 5 Final cut Suites, 1 Adobe Premere, 1 Sony vegas and have no problem getting support. I just feel bad for those who are being let go & wish them well.

Once you Let the Lawyer’s in, it might wind up costing you money for spinning your wheels, plus blowing up your reputation. The lawyer’s always are willing to take your money and tell you its a good case, if the company you are going after is a Corporation they have to hire a lawyer to defend the company. and the cost can be substantial, if you Loose and you probably will, you may have to pay all the Legal fees.

Also, Dummy gives the Client 30 days to take the 10 wino survey of anyone walking past their office, who are entitled to give their expert advice about the final project. Also, all blood-relatives and extended-family — including but not limited to aunts uncles and any and all in-laws, etc. — shall be deemed to also be entitled to offer their binding expert advice. If they are from LA or New York survey results count double.

This is the problem with To many Ghost hunters with Lawyers & Video Gear! You still should consult with a Lawyer, This person can sue you, also make sure you speak to the right type of Lawyer (not the slip & fall type) a little money now can save you a lot later
