Thanks. Will those charge on my AB charger?

It won’t power the camera long enough to set anything. The warning light and sound stay on for about 5 seconds, then it shuts off.

Eric, thanks. This is why I don’t totally trust the samples I heard on that website. But if you have time, I’d be curious about your comments re the first set of CS-3e and Neumann 81i male, on-axis, indoor voice samples. Maybe they’re not representative of the Sanken’s sound?

I wish I could try several, but I live hundreds of miles from the nearest dealer.
I will say that in the comparison test Dan Brockett did several years ago, which included Sanken, Schoeps, Senn, etc., the one that sounded consistently best to my ears, both on and off axis, was the Neumann 81i. However, DPA wasn’t in the test group.

As I feared. So you’d go with 6.0? I don’t want to lose sleep over this project…it’s very low budget.

I’ve read some posts that say the $350 Panasonic card reader offers a faster transfer rate than camera-to-ext. hard drive connection.
I can’t figure out why this would be, since the limiting factor would seem to be the speed of USB2. What is it about the card reader that makes transfer faster?

Can you give me an example or link to a specific accessory that comes ready to mount into one of those threaded holes?

Good suggestions. Thanks. But I need to replace a Dionic 90, for which I already have an AB charger. Unfortunately, buying an aftermarket battery + charger costs as much or more than a Dionic.

Should i rule out that there would be a non-AB branded battery that uses the AB charger?
