Just open the video file (I think the video has to be in QuickTime format) and than open animation window (where you can see a timeline). If you want to use digital filters you need to convert the video to the smart object. When you finish your work in Photoshop, you can export it… but be prepared for VERY SLOW rendering 🙂

When I use flatten image on the video file, the result is just one frame, not the whole video.

Thanks. Does it work even when I use plugins (from Alien Skin) in Photoshop that are not designated for AE? I tried to import such PSD file, but I dont see the applied effects (AE says there are missing filters). Maybe it cant be done or maybe I’m doing something wrong…

And when I exported in Photoshop into Quicktime, the contrast and saturation is decreased…

I just found this solution (how to render video edited in Photoshop in Adobe Media Encoder).

But it doesnt work… When I import the PSD file, Adobe Media Encoder just renders only one frame from the video.

Magic Bullet is great tool, but I really miss things like setting different shapes of masks, tracking masks etc. But I didnt see the new version yet.
