A FB forum suggests using extend edit or turning off snapping in the timeline settings. Someone posted this…

Thanks for all the tips, Walter. The general consensus seems to be that whilst the large size is good the medium size is perfectly adequate, but I guess it is difficult to know until one has used either on or both in anger.

Just wanted to check one more thing. Assuming that is probably better to opt for the Intuos4 rather than the Intuos3, would it be best to opt for a small (6×4), medium (6×8) or large (12×8) tablet (for Avid/FP dual screen editing). I know you have touched on this, but I thought is was probably not advisable to purchase the older Intuos3 range as this has now been superseded. Obviously, I would prefer to spend as little as possible, so I just want to avoid buying a large size when a small size might be perfectly adequate.

    Many Thanks

I might be wrong, but the Wacom Tablets don’t seem to be very widely used in the UK (at least in the world of editing), so I very much appreciate the advice that has been offered.

    Many Thanks
