I have used a tascam, but for only 8 channels.
At the moment I am experimenting with the Euphonix MC Control here

I’ve just tried controlling 12 tracks and that works fine by toggling through the banks. Does your surface use mackie control?

I’ve found making motion favourites for all the format & aspect ratio changes really helps speed things up here.

Select all clips, Remove Attributes – Filters
You probably applied the filter to all of the clips at once

Trashed your prefs? Done all the updates?

Open up the application Text Edit
then go edit/special charactersfrom the menu
Add all symbols/characters you require into new Text Edit document
Cut & paste into Text generator in FCP

A bit of glow, dial out some colour, run it at a lower framerate, bit of reverb on the audio….
