Did you ever get this figured out? I volunteer at an international relief organization here in Santa Barbara – we have archive footage in HDV 1080i format, but some television stations want DV 4×3 not letterboxed.

Thanks for any suggestions…

I’ve got the same problem… did anyone propose a solution? I’m only half way through the manual, but plowing ahead.
