    Hi Eric,

Yes, I have clips from half a dozen shoots that need the burn-in. So in Encoder, will I just drop the folders in with multiple clips and metadata without having to drill into each media file?

I hear you. (no pun intended). But that logic does not explain why it would find the word in the Audio Mixdown, but not the original clip. Does Phrase Find listen to all audio tracks? I’m wondering if the noise from other channels is messing with the ability to hear.

I take that back; I searched a few words today as another test. FAIL, even when I TRANSCODED a sub clip that included the phrase. I managed to find the phrase in the Audio Mixdown though. Any ideas folks?

I think I solved my own problem; indexing was not done yet.

The media was a QTRM from Media Composer and I didn’t even have access to MC at that point. I tried a bunch of troubleshooting and didn’t do it methodically. So I don’t know for sure what solved the issue. I’m inclined to believe it was putting only one clip in a Timeline that solved the problem. Someone on another Thread suggested that.

Thanks for sharing. Yeah, I really wasn’t factoring that dropoff in. The After Effects artist said he’s been having a tough time with the keys. I’m going to use a waveform in the future and cover the green floor when there’s not a head to toe shot. I’ll bet there’s reflection going on there.

So maybe this is part of your pro secrets; you mention not to touch the iris once the bkg. is set. However, once you add the key and fill doesn’t this raise the level of the bkg?

I’m using BCC4, the DVE effect, and it doesn’t matter whether I step in or double click. “MOTION BLUR ON” is checked. I am cropping using the “Crop & Blend” section. Basically, I’m trying to slide on a piece of text or a frame of video and I’d like to get the blur just on that layer. So long as I do it without the crop everything is fine. It’s when I try to crop that the image gets distorted until it lands. Screen grabs when I get a few minutes.

Thanks man. This one has been haunting me for a while.
