With Tech support, we went back to “creat new user” drag to primary HD, to Secondary HD, Nada!
Some folks are not seeming to have this problem. We took all non Apple things out of the Library/Quicktime, Ran the machine as “Just a Mac” and zippo.
I edited a trailer out of the 43 cards I had stored on the G-Raid with 6.0.1 with no problems. I jumped to the upgrade to get rid of the “lost render” problem. I do have the entire project backed up as a 6.0.1 so all is not lost unless 6.0.1 tries to use QT 7.3. from the newer ver drive.
GOt to test that,

Do NOT go to FCP 6.02 and QT 3 You will not be able to import P2 Material as of today.

Been on with Apple Tech Support, I know, last resort most times. They had not even heard of this problem and tried to blame it on Flip4Mac, my BlackMagic Drivers, etc.
I find it sad that we in the trentches don’t have someone from Apple monotoring the boards. Let alone have an entire division let out something that disables my ability to injest media?
