I’ve read all the release notes, tried all the AVCHD and non AVCHD prefs, and when i choose a P2 folder to import nothing shows up. Did I miss something in the set up? This can’t be a bug. What am i doing wrong?

BTW, just did the 6.02 updates and 10,4,11

Nope…something happened. I just updated to 6.0.1 and OS 10.4.11 and I can no longer import P2. I navigate to the CONTENTS folder, click OK…and nothign happens.

    Looking into it.

Total shot in the dark. P2 import was like the one thing I DIDN’T check today.

Ya know I could understand one of us guys not trying to import a P2 card. But What the FRig were the “test team” thinking? Oh yea, may be not so much.

I checked and there’s no such thing as Perian component. Only DVCPROHD stuff Uncompressed and Flip4Mac WMV and FLV.component, Live Type, Motion, Backmagic and appple stuff.

QT 2 was a disaster this is a major debacle. I wonder what fun they can come up with 7.4?

😀 You’re funny man. I have to check this out tomorrow when I get back to the office with some P2 stuff.

    What a bummer.

Crap guys, I totally hate to say this. I forgot I had a P2 directory on my laptop for testing purposes. I opened log and transfer, pointed it to the card, it worked and it imported.

    Let’s start with basics.

Are you guys on PPC, intel, AMD (just kidding)?

Well, my Hackintosh is only running FCP 5.1.4 and OS 10.4.9, that machine isn’t the issue. That is the kids machine anyway. Woodcrest Intel…nice machine (only set me back $300).

The machine that is having the problem is my Dual 2.0Ghz G5, running mac OS 10.4.11. 3.5GB RAM, 9800Pro Graphics card, Kona LH card.
