  • I’m not convinced this is a pluraleyes problem only. I just setup a new computer with Premiere CC2014 and brought in a project that was begun in Premiere CC. No audio in the sequence! What the heck? Luckily I still have old laptop and can finish the edit there, but really, does Adobe not know about this?

    Michael,

Thanks for your clear and concise solution to this! Worked like a charm. I hope Adobe and Apple can play nice on AVCHD in future, but I won’t hold my breath. Not sure how you figured out those steps, but I certainly do appreciate you sharing it with strangers.

I’m moving back to L.A. soon. Will keep your co. in mind for post!

    cheers,

I think I solved it. Run software update. Mine needed Qtime, ProKit and security updates. I have a feeling that the ProKit update was the issue.

Well folks, I am getting the same problem and using DV footage. Something is up and it’s stopped me in my tracks.

Ran disk warrior and repaired permissions. Just finished copying entire project contents to new drive, but that is not the problem either. Did several tests with file size reduction (by deleting sequences) going down as far as 125 megs, so I dont’ think file size is it either. About to load FCP 7 to see if that will solve it, but I would have rather figured out the issue with current config. Of course no guarantee that the upgrade will solve it. Any thoughts appreciated.
