Hi,
Although you can indeed use the BCC filters to perform some interesting and cool compositing within the Vegas timeline, to achieve the result that you have in mind, I would move over to a dedicated compositing solution rather than trying to do all of the heavy lifting from an editing solution (which was primarily designed for cutting video.) For this, I would suggest that you use Boris RED … you should be able to replicate the TV opener shot in Boris RED much more effectively and with far less effort than attempting to produce the effect on the Vegas timeline.
Using the Boris RED plug-in within Vegas, you can keep the animation live, you don’t have to render it out independently from RED, and thus maintain the flexibility of the BCC filters while harnessing the power of a full fledged compositor with 3D cameras and lights.

Drag the filter off of the tiff layer track so that it exists as a track unto itself and place it above everything else in the timeline … this will yield the result that you have in mind.

You need to download the trial version from the link that Boris provided. The trial version is in fact the full product installer and will install all of the necessary files into the correct locations for Premiere to read them.

Are the keyframes set to hold? If they are set to anything other than hold this would account for the drift that you are seeing.

Hi Adolfo,
I’m glad that you provided a screenshot as this made the problem that you are experiencing an easy one for me to diagnose. The issue at hand, based on the screenshot that you have provided, is that you have installed Boris RED 64 into FCP7 which is a 32 bit host. That won’t work. You need to download the RED 5 32 bit installer from the borisfx.com website. So go ahead and do that, then install the update and the transitions should be working as expected.

Well the first question would be is this something that you can use the motion tracker to follow. If so, then the task of removing the object becomes a lot easier.
Assuming that you can track the mic, you can use the tracked motion to lock the clone paint strokes onto the object. All of the paint strokes can be nested into a single track to which the motion tracker filter is applied.
Another option is to use the Wire Remover tool. This tool includes two motion trackers, one at either end of the fill area.

You are correct – RED 5 does not include BCC Flicker Fixer, however, you can download the trial installer for BCC and give that a shot.

Yes, you can use the 3 Way Color Grade in RED 5 to take care of that – remember, you’ll need to keyframe the parameter of choice (perhaps exposure) to even out the lighting in the shot. You might want to try the BCC Flicker Fixer too just to see if this can solve the problem without the need for keyframing.
