what exactly does it sound like. Overloaded bottom end?
Its not within avid but i use izotope RX to clean up audio like what i suspect this sounds like quite often . The problem with eq is it takes all audio out at a given frequncy, tather than isolating a particular problem
If you upload a short clip that has the problem ill have a look for you.

Audio network is good, but its not free. youll have to pay for its use.

well ive had a go in the studio with izotope and i rekon its pretty well broken.
Sorry, but if you werent monitoring then im surprised it wasnt worse.
I hope the bride and Groom are understanding.

Finally managed to get back in the studio and get the computers working again.

Your audio is i fear beyond repair. Had a go but still a lot of distortion left. I think youll have to discover how it happened, cover that off going forward and mark it down to experience.
