Izotope really is NOT a tool to fix issues like “bad production shoot and planning”.
If you have 2 actors, both with lavs and a boom, then they need to be recorded as 3 tracks not stereo 2 track. If you have 2 booms then it is 4.
I doubt izotope will be any help at all here. This is not an audio fault – its incorrect recording technique.

Donyt know why that should be.
As I said, I find i can only import 1 clip in any batch import, (so not a batch import at all!) but regularly have dozens of different video clips on the timeline at once. Thats in Pt10 and 11.

Yes you can only import 1 video clip into pro Tools at a time, but you can import as many more as you wish to have on your timeline together and work on a timeline as big as you wish with many different video files – not just 1.These things being asked about from OP see so basic I cant believe that the other software cant deliver.
Pro Tools will do all of this, but he should understand that plugins like Isotope arent free with PT.Peter

Sounds to me a bit like your right on the edge of either transmitter input overload, or input of the recorder camera overload. It seems to occur on peak transients. If the cameras I can see in the picture are the recorders then they look like DSLRs and so id be looking there (as I have a very LOW opinion of DSLR audio capability in general).
Are you going into cameras as XLR or are you converting down to something horrible like a 3.5mm jack?

Id add that using an mp4 isnt too hot an idea unless its all you have. Mp4s are really just a delivery file cos theyre small and transferable.
Best go back to an uncompressed file if poss / or a pro res original, do the work and then re create a new mp4 from that amended export.

No the audio will not be embedded / attached to the video anymore.
Best workflow.
1)Take video file with embedded audio into a video NLE such as AVID
2) export the audio track as wav or aiff
3) import into rx and work on it
4) render it back out with changes completed
5) import to avid and re lay on timeline
6) export timelineas a video again.NB If youre in pro tools you can re export the video track with a new audio track natively within pro tools
