    Thanks Anders…

After I sent the post I had another sit down and came up with the very same solution. It was such an obvious fix – I don’t know why it didnt come to me straight away…

    thanks again.

    Hi

Just wondering how you achieved a couple of the effects on the Anything IT video on your website… looks very good.
How did you do the boxes appearing and how did you create the 3d globe of the earth with the arrows going around it? Was this achieved in Motion?

I have chosen pick from colour range with 2 blue tags and two yellow tags of the same colour and then moved the two closest tags next to each other so there is a sharp line between the two in the gradient editor. However my original blue book case now is a mix of dark blue and green. My original book (source cell) was a much lighter blue.

Sorry Mark I haven’t quite got it yet. I also tried the interpolation setting to continuous as suggested by Andy but with no success. Thanks for your patience…

I would highly recommend making the investment and paying for ripple training’s tutorials on Mastering Motion’s Camera’s. Mark Spencer does an amazing job of going through these step by step and shows you ways to use the cameras. If you are serious about learning the cameras I highly recommend the investment.

  • Looks fantastic. A tutorial would be fantastic please.

    Thanks Stephen,

Yeah I can see how you did that. If you wouldn’t mind, I would also love to know how you worked the cameras to achieve the effect of moving back and having the main shot become a poster on the sign in the new “set” and then the circle icons turn into the sun and essentially return to the original scene?

Sorry for all the questions but still learning motion and just trying to build my knowledge base and ability to hopefully one day be able to produce your standard of work.

    Hi Stephen,

Thanks for trying to get back to me. I was asking about the multicultural business add you created. My question was just regarding how you exactly managed to achieve that connecting look with circles under the business people and lines connecting to the others to form the grid. That advertisment alone would make for a great tutorial.

    Thanks

    Peter
