Fade filter to normal
Hi
I have imported a clip into motion. I have applied a Livetoons sketch effect to the clip but I only want it to last a few seconds and then blend back to normal… How do I best achieve this? I have tried splitting the clip but Motion does not like it too much and it quits unexpectedly. Any help greatly appreciated.

Make a clone (keyboard shortcut: k) of your clip first, then apply the filter to the clone, and fade it out as needed.

After I sent the post I had another sit down and came up with the very same solution. It was such an obvious fix – I don’t know why it didnt come to me straight away…

I don’t have Livetoons, but…
…can you keyframe the Mix parameter?
