Does this also work if you capture playback via HD-SDI directly from the Varicam (as against a deck)?

Thanks guys. I thought it might be useful if you needed to quickly backup a card in the field without having to set a PC (and) HDD up.

It installs perfectly fine, just like any app. CS4 is not 64-bit but it is 64-bit compatible.
You really must have newish hardware to avoid issues with V64. I would not install it on a two or three year old computer for example.

Like you Eric, I found the most recent driver that works is 6.7.2. I also found the serial port is not found with 6.8.x V64 drivers. here’s hoping there’s a fix soon along with CS4 support. I sent BMD support a note so they are aware of it.

eric I can’t find driver V7.2 I’m on the latest V64 driver 6.8.3 This is super annoying. We’re doing an urgent Sunday edit and I can’t capture timecode. I’ll try loading an old driver.

Same here Eric. All my captures via RS-422 with the latest drivers are capturing with timecode start at 0.00.00.00.00. This is a real PITA as we can’t recapture if we have a RAID failure. BMD guys; can you check this please?

Just installed CS4 Master Collection on Windows. The Aussie Text-to-Speech is not grayed out here. Have you installed a trial version? Some features may not be available.
