Shift + S is the same as
VIEW > AUDIO SCRUBBING is checked, so no, that doesn’t work. Any other thoughts?

Yeah, I’ve read that the focus thing can be a bit tricky, hence, the “follow focus”. How do these things work?

All that info is very good. I think I’m going to pick up that book you recommended as well.

What exactly is a “follow focus”? How does it work. Also, is is difficult to “calibrate” these adapters? Keep in mind, I’ve never touched one before, however, I do have some basic knowledge of SLR still photography and a firm grasp on using the EX1.

I have been looking into the Redrock, Brevis and Letus. I am based in Toronto, so, I’m sure there’s a rental company who can put together a bundled kit I can rent to test out. I think that’s probably my best bet.

Nope, still doesn’t work. I deleted the Calibrated folders from my computer, but when I Export to Quicktime Custom and choose my codec (in this case, H.264), it still shows the grey rectangle. Did I uninstall correctly? From the directions you sent, it seemed that I should’ve deleted all the Calibrated folders to uninstall…

Seems to be working okay, although, I still see the grey rectangle in the clip icon on the time line in Final Cut. Maybe the cache needs to be cleared?
