No fix for me. Will still not allow a GPU accelerated render.

I also have a card that will supposedly work but will not.
And the only solution is to select CPU encoding only. Thankfully i found this solution in just minutes of surfing.
Yes, Sony Vegas 11 features are not so far supporting the hardware it claims to support.

The videoguys DIY9 is workable. I built that system with minor deviations just this past weekend. It NEEDS bIOS flash to latest upgrade.

I edited a very short clip last night with it. Just had to turn off GPU accelerator or whatever–guess my5770 card is not up to snuff.

I also built their DIY 6 or 7– several years back…it went much easier because there were no bugs to work out. This time took me all weekend. Parts can be had at New Egg and looking around sites like Digital Storm yes you can build it much cheaper and it is NOT that difficult.
