    1. Create a selection of polygons on the wine bottle where you want your label
    2. ‘Set selection’ (in the selection menu) and give your selection a name eg ‘label’
    3. create a new material, put your photoshop file in the color channel
    4. Apply this new material to your bottle.
    5. Click on the material in the object manager – this should bring up some options for the material including ‘selection’ (under ‘Tag’). Type the name of your polygon selection(eg label) in the selection box.

    Hello Alan
    I assume you are projecting retinal vessels onto a retina!
    I prefer the project spline option to snapping (structure>edit splne>project>view). Make sure you have selected the model tool not the point tool when doing this. The position of your camera is important if you use this option.
    You could repeat this process after moving the points around to bring them back to the surface of your object.
