Issue started way before processors upgrade. Think I was even on titans then. It’s starting to look like a cubix thing. There was a cubix conflict in the past with an early DV 9 I think.

If avid is working awesome. Doesn’t hurt to do it and usually helps simplify the aaf XML etc. as of course removing any uneeded clips and dropping everything down to track 1.http://www.filmandtvcolor.com | colorist | Los Angeles, CA

Also of course any “video mix downs” or nested sequences or anything like that wont translate either. Those types of clips need to be output and recut into the sequence.

Conform is doing whatever it takes to get the project right so you can start working. You can end up a down a deep rabbit hole trying to figure out why something is not working as intended. Sometimes it’s a good thing to do that. Sometimes it’s a big waste of time. Colorists are used to this and it’s part of the job. Just get the clip linked and slip it into place.
But it’s probably a reel name issue…http://www.filmandtvcolor.com | colorist | Los Angeles, CA

duplicate your project in the project manager. also export it to save a backup.
in the duplicate project (or reimported backup) right click in the media page and add a “usage” column – then sort by usage. then you can delete all the clips with “0” usage. Then delete all the sequences you don’t need. then you can use the resolve media manager to copy all the remaining clips in the media bin to a new folder or drive. then relink all the media to that path.
I don’t know of a better way.
except! the fantastic app “RESOLVE COLLECT” available on the apple storehttp://www.filmandtvcolor.com | colorist | Los Angeles, CA

I’d say it’s a mavericks thing. Started for me when I was forced to go to 10.9.2 due to switching to amd gpus. 10.1.4 for me. Good thing is even though resolve freezes it still let’s you save. But then it’s a hard reboot of Mac.
