I just didn’t think you could move PG to stills folder in v9.
Andrew’s procedure is the only way to move an entire PowerGrade library.

What you are trying to attempt is in theory possible. There are so many potential pitfalls though, and if you don’t have a very thorough understanding of every part of that convoluted path, and the calibration equipment to set up and verify every step, you are way more likely to do more harm than good. Much safer to grade in a known 709 workflow an then go the dcp color space transform route which is pretty well established at this point.
If the project has to absolutely get every bit of P3 dci color and theatrical “look”, then work in a proper grading theater and prepare your clients for a much higher cost.

Red already has open cl debayer and going cuda soon for multiple gpu r3d transcode. You’re going to want that. Bus speed on that old Mac Pro is slowwww. Don’t get that.

Wow. That’s quite a “retro” setup.
Ok, install a new drive in a spare bay in your Mac so you can leave the old one alone in case you need to go back (it’s like a museum!)
On the new drive install mountain lion it’s available at apple site. Then install resolve 10, fcp7, and any other software you have or need. Might want to think about fcpX or premiere…
Get more ram, 16gb at least. Be a good idea to upgrade your gpu now too. What have you got in there now?
