That was it!!!! Thank you….I had the Kona3 outputting 10bit and the footage is 8 bit, didnt realize this was an issue. Out of curiosity, what if you had 8 bit and 10 bit footage?

ahhh….funny, I never use that tool, forgot all about it 🙂 Im all Avided out….would be nice to just be able to hit one button and boom…it just opened with everything selected…but this will work…thks!

I gotta give the nod to MAXXDIGITAL EVO HD, not only are they great arrays, the customer support is bar none!!! They have been amazing for me….highly recommended.

Hey Kevin,
I would put money that those are hum lines….Im a live event director who has toured for years and Ive seen that a lot and is a very common issue doing live events….usually a humbucker, moving the racks, decks(might be over power in the venue that is piped underground) or as simple as moving a powercable….I supposed if your not using the masters its possible that it happened on the dub transfer, however Im afraid that it is probably just somthing that is on the masters…..
hope you figure it out and I LOVE CHEAP TRICK!!!!! Can hardly wait…..very cool project….

I do live events all the time, what those look like to me from my experience are power interference…happens all the time in live situations….not sure how you could fix that in post….

Ya, I know, thats why I was so stumped…..it looked great on my NTSC, and interlaced on my computer, fine, the video is for web….I did do a deinterlace, and it worked except the scroll was really jumpy and hard to read, I ended up slowing it down quite a bit, as well as changing the font and that seemed to help…..thks for the response….

Well thats where the misunderstanding is, and why I responded nasty to you….I wasnt upset at all…I was trying to do what I have done a million times before late at night in a crunch to get someones attention…if you took it as I was complaining, Im not sure what to say…..who posts on a board to complain about the board???!!!! I dont have time for that kind of stuff, so i think you just took my post the wrong way……I dont think we need to police everyone here and teach people how to use a public board….but thats just my opinion, and opinions are like…well you know the rest…
