    we are recording to DVCAM and we actually figured it out, it will only send the CC signal out of the monitor output, thanks for the response though….

    And what about the just announced CinePorter CP-2…this thing unlike the Firestore, which I saw at the DV Expo and really wasnt impressed, plugs into one of the open P2 ports and comes in sizes up to 240gigs AND will be available around the same time as the Firestore. The thing that I like about it is where it is mounted on the camera. The Firestore is mounted on top of the camera, which is very awkward, the CP-2 mounts underneath the camera, flat…a much better form factor I think…..overall I really liked the camera and am excited about it, Im just not sold on the Firestore at all, and P2 is still not a all in one solution for me.

    I used the ANycast this weekend in my show with FCP as my playback system…..thought I read that you could use Blackmagic cards to do live keying….I know Nascar has done this as well as the Super Bowl

    Yes and Nascar……thats why Im asking, I know I read that people were using it in live productions….

    Wrong……I know Nascar and the Super Bowl used FCP in a live enviroment…..thks though…

    Im pretty sure it is MPEG 1 layer 2 audio,and if im not mistaken, I thought MP3 was a form of MPEG compression on audio…..maybe Im confused…..
