    I have downloads of VP13 — Versions 373 — 428 — 444 and 453 was the final version that I have.

I’m partial to six core i7 for video editing — I’d start with an i7-6800K and go from there.

Whoops. Meant to type “sync” not “sink” .. Getting old. Wish there was an “edit” function here.

If it’s all the Blu-Ray or DVD templates then all is well as Ole points out above. You’ll need to render a separate audio track to use in DVD Architect. I think most people use AC-3. If you use the exact same timeline to render the video and the audio separately, DVD Architect should sink that up for you when making the Blu-Ray disc. But I’m not really that familiar with DVDA.

Something could be up here. Exactly which template has the audio greyed out?

Sounds like you have not purchased V14 yet. If you did before tomorrow you’ll get Mercalli CMOS fixer in the deal .. Once installed it will also work in V13. Fairly sure about that. At least it seems to for me.

V14 will cost you $249 and would include CMOS fixer but you can buy CMOS fixer separately for $120 right now.

I have the Mercalli and frankly I like Sony’s Stablizer better for my use. It’s faster and easier to use than Mercalli. Of course, I don’t have tons of really problem footage either. Real Problem footage is where I think Mercalli shines if you spend the time to learn how to handle it.

There are lots of simple answers, like is your preview window set for “preview” or “best” .. “preview” has less lag.

Dynamic Ram can effect preview ..

What media are you using — HiDef? 4K? .. You might consider using a Proxy file.

    Here’s a video that may help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woLl10FN3I0

There is lots more help too. Google “Sony Vegas Preview Lag”
