thanks for your quick response. I’ll try the new project with basic fonts. This morning when I awoke I though, “maybe I turned off something in MSconfig” that it needed on startup. I turned everything back on… gamma loader etc. Still had same problem with old project.

    I’ll try your idea tonight.

    cheers,

It is a little finicky but I do it with a canopus box… .firewire out of the computer…. into canopus AD converter box… then RCA analog from Canopus AD box into TV.

Media 100 is installed on both systems. They are scsi raid arrays on the G4 OS 10.2.8 and G5 10.3.? If they were firewire it seems as if it would be easy to just swap them.

Also… are there Media 100 versions that play better with particular OS versions. (i.e. jaguar better with Media 100 8.1 or 8.2) Just curious.

I’m guessing that it isn’t always best to upgrade to the latest and greatest….

this worked for me too… is there anything wrong with just leaving the machine at this “secret” preference setting… the software I meant.

    Sincerely,

Thanks for sending the project file. I’ll study it also. I was think more of doing flybys but this will probably make sense when I scrutinize it.
