I’m with you and would like to second that.
I am new to AE and havn’t found much about creating transitions between graphics. The layout is much different thanFCP, it seams you can’t just put a cut through a moving clip and throw on a transition. . . thanks

ok, got found it, thanks for the tip. i was actually using a pixel aspect ration of 1.5 for dvcpro1080

i changed the aspect ration to square pixels.

Where do i change this to square pixels.

nevermind. I solved this simple little issue by dragging over image and clicking opt. and going to transform and then to scale with aspect ratio check at 100% by 100% of source.

If theres a way around this step so i don’t have to do that everytime, let me know.

Thanks for the response.

So are you able to handle these huge comps and render them? Do you have to do so portions at a time not to max out the RAM?

Just wondering how to be mindful of memory useage, because i would max out the memory when trying to edit these masive stills in FCP 5.
