Not in front of FCPX right now but thinking: have you tried animating the layers opacity insted of applying a fade? Is the result the same?

Hi,

hum, this comes down to my less than perfect command of english, sorry.

I need a rack for the EVO, and the EVO only, so we’re talking 3 or 4U.

The unit will not move, so not a flight case.

I am having difficulties sourcing this here (Switzerlanmd) as the EVO is quite deep and lots of racks here are IT like server size.

first Apple exam that really made me sweat! But then I had quite a few years of experience before I did the T3 on FCP7.

I’d suggest to edit “for real” for a while besides going through the whole book. The difficulties are in the details.

I had a partially out of phase stereo mix given to ,e the other day and as we know no FCP7 or (better) FCPx meters would have spotted that…

Hi,

I did a little bit of testing with Automatic Duck and FCPx 10.01. Itried about 6 different sound configs (linked stereo, linked mono, a combination of both, then added detached and bits not related to video). I then imported them into Protools and none of the versions worked fully.

There are two issues apparently: one is OMF and the other is the version of Protools (which has to be higher than 8 if memory serves well). Automatic Duck recommends AAf exports over OMF.

There may be issues with FCPx 10.01 or now 02 since the AD plugs were made for 10.0.0

I got busy with other things and had to stop testing. will be interested in more feedback.
