Thank Russ, I have a second Vga monitor to see all my P2 clips. The best way is to see all clip as large icon in a right sequence, but if arrange these by Name or duration, the clips sequence is random, so I have, for example, the start of an interview as fisrt icon, and the second part of interview in the middle of other 125 clips.

Thank Walter, the strange is that on my quad G5 I have e normal Lacie Fw800, and on my Quad Intel I have a Raid Sata with 140mbs. I have connect FW800 on my quad Intel but the same problem.

I think it can be a FCP problem with intel processor because I have the same problem on my MacBook pro and a test is been done by my Aja’s dealer. On is Macpro 3.0 Ghz only 4 layer then red line. (with DVCPRO 50 file)

Hi Bret,
My MacPro is a 2.66ghz with a standard Video Card (7300 Gt) and the problem doesn’t change if i remove from V2 boris title 3D. (Same problem with My Mac Book Pro)
I Wait FCS2

But Rt extreme charge on processors or Video card?

Thank you Bret, My MacPro have 5gb ram and Kona3 with Raid Sata.
Same configuration with Quad (G5) but with 4Gb ram.

Same scenario: V1 two clips (DVCPRO50) with distortion at -33.33, between these a cross dissolve. V2 Boris title 3D.

MacPro over trasition light green line (preview)
Quad (G5) dark green line (real time)

I have tried same scenario on Macbook Pro 17 with Aja IO: Light green light.
So I thing that FCP 5.1 is fastest on PowerPc for real time, fastest on intel for render.

Ok, but with quad I have never rendered for edit to tape a dark green sequence. Only with Macpro.

Yes, I have installed Red 3.0 and then Boris Red Update 3.0.5.
But in Final Cut I don’t see Red plugins.
