    Thanks Guys!

Too bad they won’t allow you to get a better card than the 2 offerings.
IT does seem to be a pretty good machine, still undecided between that and the mbp for portability, but there is definitely a loss in performance without the Nvidia card.

    Thanks!

    WOW! thanks! that’s great.

I was afraid my only choices would have been a macpro or a PC.

    Thanks again!

    Ok, That sucks.

IT says that on a MacBook Pro it can use the AMD cards, and that makes the MBP better suited for editing than the iMac.

Crazy. I bet there is not way to replace that card in the iMac either.

    Thanks

    Alex,

Thanks. Freezing, then starting then freezing. When I click on something it takes a while. I get the beach ball.

    Thanks

    Hi Dave,

I meant to say “it doesn’t move” sorry.
It happens as I am trying to make a camera move. On my very first key frame it moves then it doesn’t recognize my second one. Even if I go and punch the Z position in numerically it makes no difference.

The other case is if I use an expression on the camera I see the camera move but not the actual type or video.

    Thanks

    Thank you so much!

I wanna be able to use both in this ever changing business. Lot of people are switching to PP due to many features and especially for its ability to work with DSLR footage natively.

    Thanks again for your help!!

    Hi,
I actually did do an clean install of all the pro apps. But it’s weird I am getting that message on a specific timeline. The scratch media of that project is on an separate internal HD and the projects files are on the MACHD (system). I changed the permissions on a bunch of files but no change.
I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard, did a clean install of everything.
I noticed that ALL permissions on folders and files are set to unknown.
Is there a way to change all of them without going into each one?

    Thanks

    Paolo
