    Three and a half years after the original post this thread just answered my question as well – sweet! Unfortunately though, I also have no idea what the shortcut was to switch off live update! Creative Cow to the rescue again.

  • Thanks for the link – had a look! I guess you’re right – I am being a bit specific and I doubt it’s easy to get a “fits all” solution. I guess the real solution is good old fashioned animation!

    Hi Dan,

    Although the suggestion made by Bobby Walker ii – to use Text Hacker – is a possibility it’s not quite how I envisaged it working . I would really like the letters to move into position by moving along the x axis. To slide from their ‘jumbled up’ start point to their correct position….
