Ok, out of nowhere my comp window will not update unless I hold down the option key (Mac) while moving the time marker. I must have hit some key combination accidentally to make this happen, but I can’t reset it. I could not find any keyboard shortcut to toggle this on Adobe’s site, and there doesn’t seem to be any setting or preference anywhere that I can see. I’m sure I’m overlooking something, as I’ve got a faint memory of this happening before, but I can’t fix it.

Anyone care to shed some light on this?

    Thanks!

Is your CAPSLOCK KEY ON? That turn off the preview, also in the timeline window next to the Draft 3D button there is a button that is called Live update it should be activated. Good luck

Three and a half years after the original post this thread just answered my question as well – sweet! Unfortunately though, I also have no idea what the shortcut was to switch off live update! Creative Cow to the rescue again.

    Cheers,
