Very useful to me to know how LCD HD monitors interprets interleaced PAL signal.

I assume that it isn´t possible monitoring a progressive Pal signal through lcd monitor and all I can do is “Make up” artifacts in posproduction.

I have the same machine and works fine and smooth, not performance relevants differences in front an actual MacPro.

Thanks John, I was looking the new 12 cores machines but……. very expensive for my actual budget and the soft that I use don´t take advantage therefore I´ll buy extra ram for my Hapertowns future screamers! 🙂

First of all thank you very much Josh for your attention.
Really, the best option is make reference clips using QuickTime. I need export several clips to AE and re-import in FCP whitout losing quality and keeping order field of my hdv project.

Using Quicktime is a fast way and works.
