Thanks a lot Kevin for your opinion and experience, it really help me. Finally I think my personal battle is between Mac Pro 2010 or Imac 5k. Fool or not I think is better idea spend my money in a new Imac instead a 6 years old machine. Anyway I should think about it well this weekend.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks Kevin,
what´s your experience about heat and fan noise during rendering on Imac? I´m in a doubts sea with my decision. In benchamarks results 2010 mac pro beats Imac and 4 Core Late 2013 at least in multicore process but I don´t want a machine that maybe in 1 or 2 years will be obsolet with futures OSX.

    Hard decision! 😉

    Hello,
Maybe your problem it’s in your dvd authoring program. Check aspect ratio from your project or movie.

    Jeff, I can import.
I would like know why can´t I use AMA link with this codec.
    Avid Quicktime plugin guide says:
“If you can play the QuickTime movie with the QuickTime player, you should be able to link
and play the same file with Avid’s QuickTime AMA Plug-in.”

    Thanks!

    This is the message:
There were errors linking AMA files. See console for details.

In console, appears a log AMA link Files list and in the Plugin QuickTime vendor line:
“Vendor Name=Avid Technology, Inc. Version = 1.0 Could not process /Volumes/Data/endcredits_HD.mov

I can import QT whitout problem.
