Quick info on calibration for QuickTime Video, although you can use a Spyder to calibrate to a Video standard on a monitior, this only helps on non-Quicktiime Playback related viewing. The minute QuickTime playback kicks in it is remapping to broadcast video. A calibrated to video computer monitor would not be accurate.

Not sure what you have going on. I threw a movie in and created a bezier mask, threw a spin behavior on the layer and both the bezier mask and image spin. Do you mind sending me a screen shot fo the layer structure, just curious…

Select the movie and hit Shift-F on your keyboard. This will open your Media Tab in your Inspector. Select a new frame rate from the 4th drop down.

Make sure the source image used for the mask (grayed out unless you activated) is part of the layer structure.

There does not seem to be an obvious feather option for images. You can draw out a rectangle mask attached to the image and use a blur filter on the mask.

Maybe Greg knows of a more elegant solution….

Project length can be changed in the lower right timing window (timecode or frames). Once the project length is reset you can the reset your playback range out point.
