Can you play the clip in the camera?
If so do a capture in your NLE. I would do this first just to save the clip.
You can then try transferring clip to the other card using camera menus.
If that is success then reformat the card. You can also try updating card, but I would try to save clip first.

It must have to do with your NLE’s interpretation of the footage, are you using FCP?
If you use AE and play frame for frame then it would be slower.
I have not used 25P yet, can you over-crank that to 60fps?

If frame rate is cranked to double actual frame rate then you would get half speed when played back at normal frame rate.
30/60=1/2, 25/50=1/2. both are .5 normal speed
Now if you want slower motion try 24P cranked to 60.
24/60=6/15 or .4 normal speed

We use the Miller Solo with carbon legs with an EX3.
It is just right and has enough beefiness to support with our Q-vision topmount Teleprompter and Marshall monitor.
And it is very light and durable. We have had it for 4 years now first with a Pana 100.Olof Ekbergh

You are burning a SD DVD not HD and the footage has been compressed a lot.
Even seen on a HD TV it is still SD.You can make a HD-DVD compatible Disc from a standard DVD-R, if you have a HDdvd player but 20 minutes is about all you can put on it. This looks very good.
Or you could make a Bluray disc if you have a Bluray burner and Toast with HD plugin, then you need a Bluray set top player. This also looks very good.
You can also make a better SD-DVD with better compression using Bitviceâ„¢, but it will not look like HD because it is SD.

I did some browsing in the AE Forum.
And there are some posts there that talk about setting colors to trillions in the output module with Prores 422HQ.
I did that and I get a warning about more colors than my comps colorspace but I sa ok and then it renders W/O the light frames.
Go figure!
At lest this seems to work.

I have noticed some problems like that with 422HQ as well. The first few frames in a render are lighter then they get darker and stay that way for the rest of the render.
I also had problems with a kelight 2 render in AE with 422HQ. The preview (both on NTSCs
screen and Monitor) looked perfect but when rendering lots of noise in the keyed BG.I plan to do some more tests, but I need to get my work done first. Not using HQ seems work much better.

You need those codecs they come with FCP Studio2, do you have that installed on the same partition?

We always shoot 0 IRE when camera supports it. This way you have more dynamic range in our shots.
And when you mix HD and SD it is more similar.
But when we output, always scope and correct before printing to NTSC tape, to make sure you are legal, it is really easy with m100.
