    ahaha
You read too quickly: It’s either I keep it OR I sell it and buy gear with it.
I do realize the value of this thing!

    It is this monitor https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/739821-REG/Ikegami_HLM_2450WB_HLM_2450WB_Multi_Format_LCD_Monitor.html

I understand what you’re saying about quality.
What I also have to consider is getting this thing professionally calibrated, which isn’t cheap otherwise what’s the point of having it. But I’ve edited in so many places with pro broadcast monitors that hadn’t been cadjusted in years, if ever.

  • the strange thing is that when I chose REVEAL IN FINDER, it should point to the prores …
But I realize my workflow might be the reason I’m having issues.
I am working unsing XML to go from one system to the other (not running the same version of PPro)
And as you know Ppro brings in “new” media files everytime you import an XML file so I end up with several copies of the same media files and sometimes I might not Reattach the file that is used in the sequence…

    Thx Paul

  • Thanks Ann and Paul. Unfortunately it doesn’t help.
I still have to manually to the correct folder….
However it’s not too too bad as I can do batch reconnect…

  • [Dave LaRonde] “Who uses NDF for program-length material? That’s just weird.

Thanks for pointing this out. It made me look at the shows and you’re right, 99% come in DF.
So why did we ever delivered NDF?…. Mistery because, correct me if I am wrong, but DF is pretty much the norm for broadcast right?

  • [Shane Ross] “If you need to deliver the promos as NDF, why are you using a DF timeline? “

Shows come in NDF from production companies.
We have to deliver the promos to the network in DF.
