    Hi

I don’t know where you got your .mts recordings from – but .mts is media transport stream – and uf the footage comes from a videocamera you normalt need to copy the root data struktur from the memorycard !

Convert you footage to Sony mxf 1920×1080 50mbps 422 – and try again !

  • Hi

“My intention is to show this film on television.”

How do you want to watch your movie on a TV – depends on the TV and how you want to play your movie ! Do you want to play with TV media player, laptop, usb drive …….? You have to know otherwise, it is difficult to tell which codec to render your movie out of Vegas Pro !

    Hi

Before you jump to a new computer – you need to know
that there are other options ! It’s the CPU that packs
and unpacks the hard mp4 format! You can make proxy
files in Vegas Pro or transcode your recordings into
intermediate codecs ! Then your recording will fill
more – but the editing will be like cut in soft butter!
Here is a short video – which I have made – showing
how to use batch render script in Vegas Pro!

mts to cineform avi vegas batch render script

    Hi

What is you system ? You need real computer power to use a plug-in like Neat Video ! Neat Video have to remove noise from 30 or 60 fps ! Also you need to look up for the cpu/gpu settings and test inside Neat Video !

    Hi

    So you are editing hard compres 1080p 60fps mp4 ! It’s like editing 3840×2160 30fps mp4 – and for that you need a 8-core cpu !

Try editing 1080p 30fps mp4 footage – if that is okay it will be the limit for you computer !

    Best,
    Ole

  • Hi

Don’t know if this will help – but you can right-click on the start icon for Vegas and try to change the settings !
