It may still be possible just open up your clip browser and click file and you see import click it and navigate to where you copied the clips and import and every thing should bew OK but just in case import is greyed out you may need to select folder in clipbrowser explorer.

    good luck

I think u are good with the 2 just use them when the need arise and try to avoid their pitfalls as much as possible, it seems u already have an idea or two about thier uses so i dont want to start talking about that. so in summary make the best out of the two and you will definately be better off.

Talk to the guy that owns aeroquartet himself he is likely to give you accurate answer and your best bet might be to send the card to them at this point you can drop him a line or two on his facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Aero-Quartet/304632768841 his name is Benoît Joossen he is the Founder of Aero Quartet

No. 1 can you still play the footage inside your camera ‘ex3’ if you can then just connect your camera to the computer through USB and copy your footage.

No. 2 if it cannot be playback on the camera then you may need data recovery services and i can suggest one that I just used recently when I mistakenly format a card, they by the name aeroquartet.check their site on https://www.aeroquartet.com/

August 3, 2010 at 8:34 am in reply to: advice for first EX1 purchase

I just got one myself about 2 months ago and this are the I purchase along with:
Tiffen 77mm UV Protector Filter Price $31.95
    Series 7 EX-L96 14.4v 96W Lithium-Ion Battery Pack for Sony EX1/EX3 Price $284.95
Sony MEAD-SD01 SDHC Card Adapter Price $109.95
Delkin Devices 16GB Pro Class 10 SDHC Memory Card Price $64.89
Manfrotto 503HDV,351MVB2K Aluminum Video Tripod Kit
Sennheiser Deluxe Shotgun Microphone Kit – Includes: MKH-416 Shotgun Microphone, …
PNY Technologies nVIDIA Quadro FX 3800 PCI Express x16 Professional Display Card Price $784.59
Petrol PCCB-2N Compact Camcorder Bag, Large

later I also purchased Nexto DI2725 Canon t2i more 32gb SDcards.

Depending on your position your need may vary but above all storage is very important and cannot be over emphsised and in my own case i discorvered the hard way, I lost important footage and I had to pay dearly for it through data recovery services.
Your workflow will have to change.

August 2, 2010 at 9:37 pm in reply to: Canon T2i Strobing when panning!

I beleive the problem is the slow shutter try using 1/48 or 1/60 that is the shutter for NTSC and 1/50 for PAL unless for special effect people seldom change the shutter. once you use slow shutter you are bound to get the stroby effect and the reason for 1/60 for NTSC is because of the electricity in your your area which i believe is set to 60hz. try it and you will discover that the strobes will go away

were you recording on a class 6 or class 10 card. I had a problem recently when I mistakenly format a 32gb deklin SD card before coping the content of the card. since I just ordered more SD card for my ex1r I want to know if you having problem with SD card on ex1r I will not want lose any data again. i have been talking with the guys at aeroquater to see if they help recover the wedding video files, you may consider talking to them also.
