Well, looking at that I am suspecting codec issue, question can play the video in your computer with audio and have you tried with another NLE like Edius. try checking also with clipbrowser.

I have used it with my behringer mixer EURORACK UB16622FX-PRO with the same result and sony pmw ex1r. I have used other mic sucessfully on the two with no problem uptodate. While I have not measure it I have no reason to doubt thier work.

But I have tried it with mixer with the same result and for your information I usually have lots battery power when this happen

I know this is a dead thread but I am hoping may help me since you have similar problem with the same mic ! I recently bought a sennheiser MKH 416P48 from B&H and the Mic has been randomly failing on my ex1r and Mixer with various cable used, though I am suspecting phantom power problem with the Mic can you help!!

I will interested in the solution to this problem also as I experience same thing on core 2 duo with Quadro fx3800
