I will be glad if we can get some resolution on this, because Boris RED is such an excellent product. I am going to set up a laptop just so I can get it to work, but it will sure be great to be able to use it inside of Vista 64.

Hi Boris.

I have RED, Graffitti and FX (long story). We did not know all we needed was RED at the time we bought.

We have a Vista Ultimate x64 workstation, and are eagerly looking to get going. But it appears that none of the Boris products are compatible with Vista x64?

Are you working on plans to release an x64 version of RED?

Seeing as the industry is migrating towards 64 bit, does Boris have plans to re-release Boris products (RED, etceteras) in x64?

I happen to have RED, Graffitti and FX (long story), and it is a real shame I cannot use any of them on my Vista x64 machine (and I need Vista on it).

Is it fair to ask, is it a case of “They don’t want to, they’re not going to”? Or is it a case of “They just have not done it yet”?

Is it is not fair to ask, that is OK also. I also have Boris Red, and would love to have the use of it in Vista 64, but I have no idea what is involved in programming.

I do not want to hijack this thread, but is it fair to ask how the New Deshaker compares to ProDad Mercalli? Or is the answer simply to download them both, and check them out?

I just need the best de-shaking possible, because I will be working with a lot of footage that gets sent to me by tourists on foot who have no idea the value of a tripod.

OK, so no one is answering my posts.

I contacted Cineform, they said I should capture right into NeoScene. However, they said it is only compatible with the 32 bit version right now.

Just in case anyone is reading this, and finds it helpful.

Hopefully Cineform will come out with a 64 bit version soon.
