John, I am not sure what the issue was, but I upgraded to SVP13 and the problem went away.

My editor believes there are still some bugs with ProRes and CS6. Is that accurate? Or have all of those bugs been worked out?

Wow. So you are saying that if I sell my 5dm2 body for a 5dm3 body and shut off auto-sleep, I can shoot uncompressed hdmi to my AJA Kona LHi in studio for a perfectly clean 4k shot?

Warren, thanks. I have been focused elsewhere. What is the deal with a 5dm3? Can it shoot uncompressed continuously (or what benefits does it offer)? And what is the bandwidth out of the HDMI port?

I am using Canon HF-S10 cameras to send an uncompressed HDMI signal out the side. The are simple prosumer cameras, but the glass and the image is very pretty. I need to shoot for long periods (up to 2 hours at a time). The main reason I think I would upgrade cameras would be to convert to SDI (for longer cable runs).
