The project is a comparison between motion blur at different framerates. It’s somewhat of a scientific endeavor more than a movie. It has to be exactly 48fps or the experiment is void. I want to be able to view the programs on a computer, and it will eventually be projected. I don’t have the details about the projector, but I’m assured it takes h.264 quicktime files at any fps.

Let me give you all the information I have.
The purpose of the clips I’m making is to compare motion blur at different framerates.
The client wants quicktime h.264 files at many different fps.
The clip I’m working at now needs to be exactly 48fps so that it can be compared to other clips at different fps.
They need to be viewable on a computer and be projected. I’ve been assured that the projector can run quicktime h.264 48fps 1080p footage. I don’t know the details about the projector, but I’m not really involved in the projection process. I just need to deliver quicktime, h.264, 48fps, 1080p.

When I use animation codec the filesizes are huge, at 1080p not even a high end computer could run it smoothly. I’m really confounded here, any other ideas?

I should have been more clear. The client wants H.264 quicktime files at 48fps 1080p. After Effects can only export H.264 in 30 or 50 frames as well. I’m attaching a screenshot so you can see the menu. Is there any way to make premiere or ae render out quicktime h.264 at 48fps at 1080p.

I should have been more clear. The client wants H.264 quicktime files at 48fps 1080p. In AE I was inadvertently using Animation codec quicktime files leading to uncompressed/unplayable files.
Unfortunately, After Effects can only export H.264 in 30 or 50 frames as well. I’m attaching a screenshot so you can see the menu. Is there any way to make premiere or ae render out quicktime h.264 at 48fps at 1080p.

I need the final product to be a quicktime file. After Effects will let me export in quicktime, but the file is huge and won’t play smoothly on a computer monitor. If AE is the only way to go, how can I get AE to compress quicktime files in order to make them viewable?
