How to scale up a clip and keep sharp pixels
Here’s what I want:
I want to drop the resolution of a 1920×1080 clip to somewhere in the 384×216 range so that the each pixel is large sharp and visible. Then I want to display that low resolution clip in 1920×1080.
Here’s what I tried:
I dropped the resolution from 1920×1080 down to 384×216, then rendered out some tiffs. The tiffs look exactly how I’d want them to look, each pixel is big and sharp. I imported the tiffs, and then scaled them back up to 1920×1080. Here’s where the problem starts. When I scale the small footage back up, instead of those big sharp pixels, the image turns into a blurry mess where I can’t distinguish one pixel from another. Here’s what I want it to look like in 1080p

Here’s what I’m getting when I scale up

How can I scale a clip from low resolution to high and keep the blocky pixelation without any blur being added?
Thanks in advance for any help!
