Projects rarely disappear on their own. Try clearing the search field in the Library. That is usually the cause of ‘disappearing’ projects.

Not seeing the connection to FCPX in this question- that said I can’t imagine you’d have an issue with higher capacities unless the firmware specifically forbids them.

I assume you mean the EQ in the inspector- not really. That sort of more sophisticated audio mixing automation is something you would do in Logic/ProTools etc.

For what purpose? You wouldn’t be increasing quality- just placing less data into a larger pipe on the color side.
