    Not seeing the connection to FCPX in this question- that said I can’t imagine you’d have an issue with higher capacities unless the firmware specifically forbids them.

    Thanks Noah – I only use my Pegasus for media edited in FCP X and assumed other FCP X users the most likely to have experience of larger drives. Also got no response in “Arrays” 🙂

    Shouldn’t be a problem with larger drives, we purchased a few Pegasus R4s and placed our own 2s to 4 TB drives.

    Cheers – Promise advise they tested / support 4tb drives; was hoping to go 5-6tb but playing safe with 4tb

    I have a bunch of aging 1st gen R4s. The sweet spot ($) now is 6TB drives and will be testing those shortly. Will post back results.
