I like the Frezzi miniHMI lights. Also the LED lite panels are great.

All remotes use the same codes, just need to make sure both cameras are in range and setup to receive commands from the remote control.

You could run them both with time of day timecode. As for keeping them completely in sync that would require both cameras to run exactly the same amount of time- starting and stopping together. I suspect you’ll be in for some post synching. I’m not a wedding guy but I know they are present as edits not start to finish every second of the ceremony.

That review is based on the original model DVX100. The currently available DVX100A version does have autofocus capabilities as well as gain in the progressive mode which would help in low-light situations.

Just remember no one is watching those films because they were shot on a DVX100, they’re watching them because they are good movies.
If the question is: can you shoot a real movie on the DVX100? The answer is absolutely yes. If the question is: does shooting on a DVX100 make a movie good? No way.

At very close range you should switch to the macro mode or you won’t be able to focus.

A video cam is not ideally suited for stop-motion. You’ll get way, way better results using a digital still camera. Better resolution and much better suited to frame by frame work. Even the cheapest digital still would be good for this.
To get back to your question, if you are experiencing back focus trouble with your camera it might have internal damage. I’d suggest sending it in for repair and calibration as this is not something you can fix on your own.
