Are you adding the ray to the entire comp layer or just the layer with the can?

There’s quite a waiting list- I’d suggest making contact with a dealer asap if you want one in the near term. B&H, EVS and Birns and Sawyer would be a good place to start.

Does the HVX200 record still images?
The HVX200 can do a single frame capture in the intervalometer section of the camera. If you use an NLE application, you will be able to select that frame on the timeline and export it as a single still frame. -
Exactly- that would be a far simpler method.

No I didn’t say that… Just that you’d probably be able to get a usable shot but not like still photography.

Can’t exactly be done- bit shocking but true. You can alter the frame rate of a clip in the Media tab of a clip but you cannot remap time the way you can in FCP.

Lossless should be fine as long as the frame rate matches your FCP sequence.
