Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, Motion, and DVD Studio Pro are now available exclusively as part of Final Cut Studio. To meet the needs of the modern post-production workflow, Final Cut Studio provides seamless integration between video editing, sound design, motion graphics, and DVD authoring tools.
Short answer- nope. You need to get the full package if you want Motion 2. Call Apple up- I suspect there’s some sort of upgrade path that might save you the full price or if you happen to have FCP you’ll get a good deal.

Not quite sure how you mean rig or which LCD screen but there’s a lot of clamps and brackets that can attach to a variety of LCD screens via the camera’s accessory shoe.

Yep- couldn’t even begin to tell you how a Prius’ engine works but they sure are fun to drive and get great gas mileage.

AFAIK this requires a dev kit from Sony- it’s not the kind of DVD you can make with an off the shelf DVD-R burner.

PCMCIA to USB 2, FW400 or ExpressCard adapter should do the job. Or FW400 to camera or P2 drive.

Good green screen is probably the most difficult thing there is. Starts with perfect lighting and uncompressed footage and processed shot by shot in 16-bit via Shake or Inferno. That’s the best it gets. As you wind your way down to moderate lighting and DV 25 you need to do a lot more work to get it to look good. Spend some time googling- there’s many many articles about this.

Well as a simple practical matter of design it’s not going to happen with the stock camera. The deck is DV only- you can’t software update new HD recording heads. But there’s nothing to stop you from running a P2 and Firestore and/or tethered HD tape deck. You have to give up a few things to get to this price point and that’s one of the main things.

Have a look at the brochure- only DV goes to tape. All other HD and DVCPRO50 formats go to P2, Firewire and the video outputs only.
